Train to be a junior Ray Mears in Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire

As part of their summer activity programme the Forestry Commission are running Bushcraft day camps for 7 to 12 year olds. The camps take place in the beautiful Dalby forest close to Pickering and Thornton-le-Dale.

The children will be taught how to make a camp using what every if on hand in the forest and how to survive in the wild.

Prebooking is essential. Camps take place on Tuesday 28 July 2009 to Thursday 30 July 2009 Tuesday 18 August 2009 to Thursday 20 August 2009 from 10am – 3pm.
