King Henry VIII to visit Scarborough 8 & 9 August 2009.

Scarborough Castle it to play host to King Henry VIII with his entourage and massive firepower! The King will be in residence to commemorate the 500th anniversary of his coronation in 1509. He will oversee the strength of his gunners and take part in displays of horsemanship and hunting. He will arrive with giant cannons, hauled by heavy horses, a huge cast of musicians, retainers and his lady.

To enjoy the activities visit Scarborough Castle in North Yorkshire coast between 11am and 5pm on 8 and 9 August 2009.
