Katie and I consider ourselves to be the best explorers in North Yorkshire, or as we like to think, the world. We know the beautiful woods and moors that surround us here at Flamborough Rigg Cottage like the back of our paw.
The nice people at North Yorkshire Moors National Park are holding a fun event on Sunday 12 September so you can start to be great explorers like Katie and I. You will learn basic map reading and compass skills so you can set off on adventures as a pathfinder.
Meet at the Moors National Park Centre, Danby 13.30 – 17.00. Minimum age 10. All children to be accompanied by an adult. If you have an OS Explorer Map OL27 they ask that you take it along.
Sadly as they don’t want the humans to be shown up they have said no dogs allowed!
