Between 16 – 18 April 2010 Pickering will play host to its first Walking Festival which it is hoped will become an annual event.
Over the weekend there will be walks ranging from 1½ to 15 miles to suit all fitness levels. The escorted walks are a mix of circular and linear, making use of the excellent Coastliner bus service on the Saturday and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway on the Sunday.
For all walks registration is at the Black Swan Hotel in Pickering. The cost of walks range from £2 to £11 per person, some include transport.
