Whitby Abbey plays host to King Arthur’s Army on 15 and 16 August 2009.
Visitors to Whitby Abbey can witness hand to hand combat and see the cavalry soldiers of Arthur's army. There is also a chance to cheer for St George as medieval townsfolk perform the legend of St George complete with very large dastardly dragon! The Time Travellers Myths and Legends Big Top activities will be running throughout the weekend too, providing plenty of hands-on activities and fun historical activities for children.
